Motorway A14 – Exit Atri-Pineto

At the exit to the motorway, turn right, following the signs for the city centre. Follow the SP28 for around 1,5 km and at the traffic lights turn right towards Pescara. After around 500 m on the SS16 turn left at the traffic lights and enter the town centre.

 

By bus

Inter-city connections

Pineto is connected to Pescara, Giulianova, Rome and many other cities through different bus routes, in particular ARPA, DI FEBO CAPUANI and BALTOUR.

By train

Railway Station in the town centre

The Pineto-Atri station is connected via regional trains to Pescara (with Intercity, Frecce bianche (high-speed) and long-distance services) and Giulianova (with Intercity and long-distance services). Please check the timetable. Duration: about 15 minutes.

 

By aeroplane

Low cost flights to Pescara

L'aeroporto internazionale d'Abruzzo is around 3 km from the centre of Pescara. The urban line GTM 38, 3 and 8 (check here for timetables) connect the airport to the train station in Pescara. You can get to Pineto from Pescara station by taking a local train or a bus going to Giulianova.

By bicycle

Cycling holidays

The coast at Pineto is lined by the Green Adriatic Corridor,  a part of the Adriatic Cycle Path, which belongs to branch 6 of the national BicItalia network which runs from Ravenna to Santa Maria di Leuca.
Almost entirely flat and parallel to the railway line, the Adriatic Cycle Path crosses a number of built-up areas and also allows you to reach Pineto by bicycle and train.
